My guys

After just posting my previous post this evening I wanted to add a quick cute picture of my guys today, I bought Mike an axe for Christmas, I wasn't sure if this would be equal to him buying me workout clothes but turns out he liked it! YAY! Anyways, he put it to work on a tree that was in the way of the tree house we are building for the kids.

For the record he did buy me the Brazilian Bum lift workout video but ONLY because I really want to keep active and try it out since I have heard great things! If I hadn't asked for it I would wonder about that one haha!

God is SO GOOD!

Finally some free time to post :) Christmas has kept us so busy like MANY others! I am so thankful for my family and friends, but I do need to say I mostly thankful for my father in heaven! I can't help but think of what life would be if Jesus hadn't come. As it is we are so undeserving of his love and  very unworthy of him having died on that cross for us, willingly! I can speak for myself and say what a wretch I am and how rotten my heart can be... Oh I am so thankful our God is so loving and forgiving and so full of grace!

Thank you Jesus!!

 

 

 

Schatten turned 1

Yesterday Schatten turned one! And yip, we were celebrating my bears birthday on the same day.

I haven't posted in about a week! We have been busy preparing for my sons birthday party, he is turning 11 next week but since his birthday day is a day before Christmas Eve his birthday is overlooked because people are so busy as it is preparing for Christmas! So this year we wanted to do it early and make it special.

Since he has been into the cowboy stuff lately we decided to do a cowboy Christmas theme. It was supposed to be set up outside but the wind was just crazy, blowing at about 50 mph! so we had to improvise and used the garage (and of course inside the house). It was fun though, we threw straw all over the floor of the garage haha.

*In the midst of greeting guests, we somehow forgot to takes pictures up until it was time to open presents!

A snowy Saturday

Finally a snow day that ALL the kids can enjoy! Except maybe on of the boys, he wanted nothing to do with it and was pretty upset that we asked him to come out for a picture, poor kid!

*Bummer the pictures came out a little blurry but the lens kept fogging up.
