Tree Up

In our family we have made it a tradition to put up our Christmas tree the evening of Thanksgiving but it didn't work out that way last night so we did it today. The kids have fun decorating it while Mike and I try to maintain control of the placement of ornaments haha poor kids, they always find it much more fun to keep them in clusters in random spots.

This is actually the first Christmas for us in our new house in the mountains so we were so excited to decorate! (yep this is a fake tree...although I always prefer the real deal it's just easier for us since we put it up so early!)

Thanksgiving Day

This Thanksgiving was spent at our house with friends, it was simple and fun. Except when we realized our dog ate the French-fried onions and Mike had to rush off to the store to save the green bean casserole!

 

We had great food, great company and had fun playing games. :)

 

*Smoothies for breakfast, lunch and dinner today! possibly a turkey sandwich here and there, I am still stuffed!
