Happy Mothers Day to mommy!

I woke up to a menu my kids created to make me breakfast in bed, even Mike got to enjoy breakfast in bed as well! They made us French Toast, eggs and sliced bannanas. I love my babies!! Later in the day we enjoyed a bbq at my moms :)

Power outage, high winds and fires

Crazy morning. Due to the high Santa Ana winds the last couple of days our power has been out. It came back on briefly yesterday evening at 5:30 and then back out again this morning :(. And these fires are outrageous! There were two structure fires three miles from us fully engolfed and an injury which called for Medi-Vac. As of late last night it was under control, however, it has picked back up today. Weve only been mountain residents for two years and have luckily not had to deal with the wild fires.. and pray we still dont have too!
